The molten rocks (magma) are ejected as a result of volcanism. When the magma is extruded through the vent of the volcano, it is scattered all around the crater (mouth of the volcano). The magma after extrusion is known as ”Lava”.
Composition of Lava:
Lava is made up of crystals, volcanic glass, and bubbles (volcanic gases). Chemically lava is made of the elements silicon, oxygen, aluminum, iron, magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, and titanium (plus other elements in very small concentrations.
