Geomorphology

Geomorphology is the scientific study of the origin, evolution, and composition of landforms and the processes that shape them. It is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses aspects of geology, hydrology, geomorphology, geomorphology, climatology, and ecology to understand the relationships between physical landscapes and the forces that shape them. The aim of geomorphology is to understand how and why landscapes are formed and how they change over time. Some of the key areas of geomorphology include studies of erosion, sedimentation, tectonics, landslides, glacial processes, and coastal dynamics.
